         Computer Quiz Competition and typing competition 


Computer Quiz Competition and Punjabi typing competition was held on 5th Dec. 2012, in which all the students of our school participated.

Four teams were selected from all classes for Quiz competition, and  their are seven students in each team from class 6th to 12th.

Ten total students were selected from all classes for Punjabi typing competition, and final 3 students were selected, who get 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in Punjabi typing .

 Students  who got 1st, 2nd and 3rd  positions  were  given  prizes  by  our  Respected  Principal Mam,
 Smt. Neeraj Bahia.

Speech on Swami Vivekananda ji

         

                                                     Swami Vivekananda Ji

Swami Vivekananda (12 January 1863–4 July 1902), born Narendra Nath Datta, was an Indian  Hindu monk. He was a key figure in the introduction of Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the western world and was credited with raising interfaith awareness, bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion in the late 19th century. He was a major force in the revival of Hinduism in India and contributed to the notion of nationalism in colonial India. He was the chief disciple of the 19th century saint Ramakrishna and the founder of the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission. He is perhaps best known for his inspiring speech beginning with "Sisters and Brothers of America," through which he introduced Hinduism at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893.

Drug Prevention day celebrated on 19th & 20th Nov.

Drug Prevention day was successfully organised in our School  G.S.S.S. SANOUR  BOYS.


Poster making competition, Speech competition, Essay writing competition and Slogan writing competitions were held on 19th Nov. and All  of the students of our school participated in the competitions.
And also a  rally was organised on Drug Prevention Day, in which  whole School  and all our teachers participated, and Prizes were Distributed to students who got Ist, IInd,  and IIIrd positions in the competitions.

Mass Counselling held on 15 Nov. 2012

Mass counselling was organised by our Respected Principal Mam, Mrs. Neeraj Bahia, to guide the students regarding their carrier.


Students were guided about the courses after 8th class, like they can go for ITI course, etc, and guide them about the courses after 10th class and  what subjects they must choose after 10th class i.e., Arts , Medical, Non-medical.

They clarify the students that what are job opportunities in different Streams, like which type of job they get after taking Arts ,  Medical and Non-medical respectively.

They also guide the students, that which subjects they must choose, if they want to go for Military services.

Health program give free spectacles to students(10th Sept.2012)

                                 Health Program provides free Spectacles

                 School Health Program provides free Spectacles to the
                  needy students  on 10th Sept.2012, who are having weak eyesight.
                 They are given information to use specs daily and
                         also told the advantages of using spectacles.
 

  Students who are given Spectacles, with our Respected Principal Mam Mrs.Neeraj Bahia, and the Doctor who checked the eyesight of the students.

World's Literacy Day(Sakharta Diwas) Celebrated.

In our School World's Literacy day was Celebrated on 7th Sept'2012  because,
their is a govt. holiday on 8th Sept 2012 .

Indepence Day Celebrated in our School , Govt.Sen.Sec.School Sanour (Boys).Patiala.

And Prizes were given to the Students, who got Ist, IInd and IIIrd Postioins in the  Examinations.
